No Contact has Lifted a Weight off my Shoulders

No contact from or with my ex and his family has lifted the weight from my shoulders. I can now see a good future for myself and my 2 year old son. I know that I have to find my true personality again, and find my true purpose in life. Even though that might take a little time, but I now have the peace to reflect on what is right for us - not him! Previously I was wasting my life trying to change a deeply unhappy man, and at the same time, I was denying who I truly am and my real capabilities. Being in an abusive relationship has wasted 10 years of my life already and I don't want to waste any more time. No contact has given me the head space to have thought all of this today!!! No Contact, just get on with re-building YOU! |
